Hooray! After 3 days of being missing, our little katydid has returned! I'm sure she was here the whole time- our apartment isn't exactly easy to come and go from if you were a katydid. I don't know where she was hiding, I'm a pretty good bug finder, but she was darn well hidden for 3 days. What a gal!

that's what happens. You raise them well, do your best, then they grow up and disappear. Only to return pregnant and penniless.
